About Us

Above and beyond (just 40 km, from southeast from KTM Airport) Kathmandu Valley, beneath Mahabharat Range, Balthali Mountain Resort (BMR) is set at the heart of lush green mountains of Balthali - offering awe inspiring and uplifting sceneries of mighty Himalayan Ranges from Mt. Everest to Mt. Manaslu. The magnificent views from the spot is a surprise gift to our guests.

Extended in 25 Ropanis of farmland, nestled on a hilltop, accompanied by primeval rhododendron forest and serpentine rivers of Ladku and Rosi, BMR has been emerged as a perfect combination of modern day comforts and natural delights. Infact, BMR is an ideal place for Meditation, Weekends, Vacations, Holidays, seminars and Weddings.

The property is modest but it is soothingly comfortable and stylish. To maintain the peace and tranquility of this place we have paid due attention to the patterns of traditional local architectural design. Right now, we have 15 spacious rooms. Our six rooms bungalows are separated from each other to maintain the homely atmosphere and ensure the privacy of our guests. Most of our Rooms are wooden furnished and equipped with all modern day facilities, i.e, attached bathroom with bathtub, A/C, LED Television and Tea/Coffee maker. We want to support for the overall development of our Communities. We want to spend some amount of our income to pay school/college fees for needy and deprived Kids/youngsters of our region.
